I decidede to challenge two friends of ours to a duel. Myself and another buddy who happen to be 26 HI. To two other buddies who are 12 and 19 HI. we got 4 pops for a pitcher of beer. We wanted 6 Pops, but they wern't going for it. then we asked for 5 and stil no dice! we finally settled for 4 Pops and we lost by 6! Was this a fair deal or a sucker bet? Albiet we initiated it!

Most matches are won or lost on the first tee when negotiating. No way should a 12 and 19 only give a couple of 26's 4 strokes. More like 8. The way I see it, your combined handicap index 26, while theirs is around 16. That is a 10 stroke difference.

You can win, it's just that the odds are against you. If you and your buddy play well and they play poorly you have a shot.

Practice your trash talking. Might help to make them more nervous.

thats what i thought. 6 would be fair but I initiated it so took our but whoopin like men and bought the beer. I twas all for fun and to initiat some friendly competition. My adrenaile was pumpin! We were up 3 strokes through 9 holes and fell apart. Oh well good friends good times!!

I gotta say gabuzo was striking the ball well on the front nine. The first nine they were really gettin up and down and making us sweat a bit. We managed to put it together on the back nine and then we all shared the beer and some good trash talking onth the patio.

We got jacked. We should have gotten at least 6 strokes. We pretty much played out of our minds on the first 9, and came back to earth on the last. We willhave to do it again. Hopefully the wind won't be such a factor.
