Default Tiger Woods 10
For all you gamers out there, this one is very cool.

Press Release

The Wii MotionPlus accessory, first unveiled at E3 2008, when it releases will allow gamers to experience true 1:1 motion tracking in the latest titles.

Originally shown at E3 in a Wii Sports Resort demonstration, the new accessory seems an absolute perfect fit for sports titles of all kinds.

Electronic Arts knows this and revealed today that the Wii MotionPlus accessory will come bundled exclusively in Tiger Woods PGA Tour ‘10 in North America, and with both the aforesaid title and Grand Slam Tennis in Europe.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour ‘10 will retail for $59.99 with the accessory and $49.99 without it when the game releases on June 15.

I have been playing Links Golf since the middle '90s and just recently found it for XP. Any games I play are on the PC.

It looks like the Motion Plus will release on June 8.

I'll keep my TW 09 for the Wii, and see how this device helps out. The lack of real sensitivity is what makes things like putting and chipping difficult in the Wii games.

It appears to retail for $20.

I thought 09 was 1:1? I think it would be really cool if you could shape draw/fade/hook/slice off of your SWING, and not just by "picking" it.

I sold my Wii a year ago though.

You can select the "advanced user" option, and shape your shots that way, rather than selecting them, which is pretty cool.

Not so hot though if you get excited and retarded like I do, and forget which way you're swinging your hand. I'm in special ed classes for gamers (and flunking out of the program it seems)

That's cool.

LOL @ excited. I remember when my dad clocked my bro in the head while playing WiiSports Tennis. SOOOOOO funny, LMAO.

We got a sneak preview of the motion plus and it is very cool. I am not a gamer at all, but the motion plus changes the way Tiger Woods is played with more realism of the swing.

Used to play Links too, however I like the "true swing" better(pull the mouse back for backswing & push forward for downswing) than the 3 click method. If you are offline using the "true swing" you can easily shank it, plus you could hit half shots much easier that way. We use to play online matches with Links and it was cool because we could type in something that would play audio(like a chainsaw sound when they hit in the woods) and we could put in custom audio(caddyshack quotes).

I heard they didn't release TW 09 for PC due to piracy issues, so I am wondering if we'll see '10 for PC.....

I don't understand what it does, but I actually have some cool Ideas for TW 10.

Maybe really realistic setting where you cant zoom up on the hole but just provided a yardage book that the caddy brings up on screen, and maybe an actual POV. Maybe even start off in the Nationwide or something.

I had a ton of ideas that would make the game really realistic.

Me and a friend built a website to get Wii Golfers to join and share buddy names just to build up tournaments with each other. The sites just open but if anyone want to join please feel free.

It's a small forum, but when you sign up ensure you add your Wii TG name when requested so others can add you to their buddy list.

Sounds sad, but it has already been fun for a couple of us that have met over the site and now play TG 10.

I have been playing Links Golf since the middle '90s and just recently found it for XP. Any games I play are on the PC.
I've been playing Links 2003 for years. There is a user group that took over the game after a long fight with Microsoft, and it has been enhanced far beyond what the creators ever envisioned. If you want any more info PM me. I have more than 20 gb of user designed courses, including some real course reproductions (Augusta, Pebble, Riviera, Shinnecock, and many, many more) that will blow you away.

Used to play Links too, however I like the "true swing" better(pull the mouse back for backswing & push forward for downswing) than the 3 click method. If you are offline using the "true swing" you can easily shank it, plus you could hit half shots much easier that way. Links 2003 has the real time swing, and the Links powerswing, as well as both 2 and 3 click. I've used RTS since the day the game was released in September of 2002. The last I heard, the base game was downloadable legally (not pirated) for $5.

Was that at Links Corner? Try this on for size: APCD Courses

They have Tours which follow the PGA and European Tours. The administrators there (Rehit and Mogulbasher) are the ones who did most of the development on the v. 1.06 and 1.07 upgrades. Until you are playing at 1.07 you aren't getting all the game has to offer.

You know, speaking of Tiger 10; I received this as a Christmas gift from my lovely wife. I gotta tell you, I SUCK at this game! It's so bad that I get so frustrated that I don't even want to play it! I do fine if I pick one of the pros and just play a for fun round but when I created my character and am going through my career I am the worst dang golfer in the history of the world.

Did anyone else find this to be the case at first? Do I just need to suck it up and keep trying to earn points and increase my attributes of my player? I decided NOT to have it set on Easy mode or whatever it's called because I would rather play it a little more realistic rather than just some simple mode that I can shoot 22 under par on. Right now though even par would be a miracle round!

Thanks guys and gals!!
