Bad Timing vs Bad Luck
I had a little of both. Bad Timing: Been away in Orlando for two weeks...the two coldest I believe the city every experienced. Bad Luck: Didnt get to play at all due to the weather. Went over to OCN to play on Sunday and temp was 35 degrees not sure what it was with the wind chill. Only 5 cars in the lot and two of them were leaving. If you could brave the temps the courses were wide open. Of course as I was leaving the weather was warming up so anyone going to Orlando next week will have great weather.
On the bright side at least it was warmer there than in Atlanta. |
That's too bad, yeah...Florida has been unusually cold this time of year, they're usually warmer than us over here!!

I know someone who just returned from Florida on a golf trip. He described it just as you did. That's a real shame, especially for those of us living in cold climates.

Buddy of mine and about 20 of his friends made a trek to Myrtle Beach every year for two rounds per day for 5 days. Two years in a row, they got rained on every day. The courses were waterlogged and they were changing raingear 4 times per day trying to keep a dry set on. Made me glad I didn't go.
