Not So Ordinary

I know the year is not over, but I was just thinking about some of the "not so ordinary, but good for golf" things that happened through out the previous months. One that comes readily come to my mind is the caddy who actually caddied, and then played in the same tournament earlier this year. You don't see that every day in tournament golf. http://www.thehackersparadise.com/fo...lies/clapp.gif

Not sure if I have the names right, and please correct me if I don't, but I believe it was Lance Ten Broeck who caddied for Parnevik in a tournament, and then actually played in the same tournament when he was not on Jesper's bag. As I recall he even scored better than Parnevik. I don't remember if either one made the cut, nor do I remember the tournament that was involved......

Other thoughts?

Tom Watson turning back the clock at the British Open. So close!

Not me, per se, but the BF has met some new friends on the golf course that we've been playing with :)

I actually enjoyed all the major championships in 2009. There were some big names in contention and 3 first time winners. The US Open this year was great, with Phil being the sentimental favorite, David Duval showing glimpses of his past, and Lucas Glover hitting a phenomenal 8 iron. It was a great tournament.
