Its been 10 years (to the day) since William Panye Stewart died in a plane crash in Mina, South Dakota. He was 42 years olf.The man with the knickers, with a big heart, had died. The game of golf has surely missed him, but his legend lives on... R.I.P Panye.

I remember hearing about this on the radio at work. They talked about it for a while throughout the day. Sad day for golf.

His family, fans, and the game of golf were robbed by his passing. I still miss seeing him play, and often wonder what the outcome of a tournament might have been if Mr. Stewart had been playing in it.

Seems like ages already since he passed. I am surprised more golfers haven't taken on his style every now and then. Maybe they should have a Payne Stewart day and everyone comes to the course dressed like him. That would be cool, imagine Tiger dressed like that?

I played with 3 strangers today and one of them wore knickers. Orange shirt, off-white knickers with matching argyle socks and an offwhite cap like Payne used to wear. It reminded me of him. The guy looked sharp. Not the look for me, but he carried it off well.

Payne Stewart was a cool guy. I can remember watching it unfold while on vacation in CA. Very weird.
