Default Breathing
What are some your opinions on how you should breathe during a swing, or do not even think about it? Me I just try to keep breathing normally through out the swing/stroke. I read some where that if you interrupt your breathing during any physical activity, your muscles will tend to tighten up. Sounded reasonable.

I never notice if I am breathing or not during my swing. I do take a cleansing breath from behind the ball before I step up and address it.

Personally, I don't think about how or when I breathe during my swing and I seriously doubt that I'll ever give it much thought.

But I DO find occasionally that if I want to rattle someone during a round, asking the question: "Do you inhale or exhale before you start your backswing?" tends to work wonders to that end.

Personally, I've never really given it much thought.

I do not know!

I would guess that I either hold my breath, or I breathe in on the way back and out on the way through.

I don't think about it during a swing.

But breathing is part of my putting routing. After my practice stroke and after I've addressed the ball, I take one big breath and exhale right before my stroke.

Love it! Next round with BIL.

My pro has me exhale before my backswing, as part of the whole relaxing my muscles routine. Other than that, I don't notice.

I actually exhale before I swing, it helps keep the body and arms from tightening up. I got the idea from teaching shooting. If you exhale you have a normal pause and that is when you pull the trigger, so I just do the same when I swing, for some reason it seems to help me keep my arms from getting tight.

I'm going to give that a try. Didn't think of that but I too exhale before squeezing the trigger. A shot's a shot...right? To be continued...

Yep its a proven fact that holding the breath causes tension in the body espicially the arms.
