Default What the Mailman brought today :)
3 Boxes of Christmas in Summer goodies!!

A Used (ebay, $135) 5-PW Adams Idea Pro Irons, 1/2" over standard. Stiff sensicore shafts. look pretty good

A like new, Wishon 949 MC 14* 3 wood on GD Red Ice R-70 tipped 1". 43" D-2Spined and FLO'd. Lamkin X-line

and a PINK NV 85 S Fairway wood shaft, cause pink is good. Something for a rainy day project.

I hope I can learn to make these Adams Irons Draw and fade, I sure could not get my Hogans to do it. esp after I started tinkering with the faces and ruined several irons...

P.S. I am trying everything in 'S' flex now. even though I may only be borderlin for that flex, at best.

Nice Timbertoes!

This is what the mailman, or more appropriately the UPS man brought me today…

Only problem is they were delivered to home and I am at work.

Awesome. I almost sprung for a pair of those when I was in the market, but ultimately went with the 360 3.0s instead. Nonetheless, I think those babies are gorgeous in brown.

Excellent! Isn't it a lot of fun to open those packages?

I have a new set of irons (expect delivery next Mon) and a new putter (hopefully gets in on Fri) in the mail. I'm very excited! The only problem is I haven't told my wife yet.....

Ya, I don't think I can get away with that one. It's going to be:

1. Try to justify why I need new irons after just one year with my current set
2. Early birthday present
3. Beg and grovel for forgiveness

I'm going to start with #2, and be prepared for #3.:zworship:

I have my wife convinced that I make a few bucks on the side buying things and reselling them somewhere else. I have sold a couple of things (two sets of irons, a putter, and a wedge), so she thinks that everything that comes in the mail is for that purpose. We'll see how long it is until that runs out.

My daughter is 2, and one of the words she just learned is mailman. When the UPS guy brought my Nickents, we were reading a book, and she looked up and yelled "MAILMAN". Between how cute that was and getting new irons, I was as happy as a clam.
