I'm just curious. Has anyone ever seen a co-ed league (as opposed to a men's league or women's league)? If so, where was it located or what was is attached to (e.g., club, course, company, profession, etc.)?

I like to play with both men and women, but I've looked around my area and can't find a dedicated co-ed league. (There is a "singles" group, but that's not really what I'm looking for.) Now I'm wondering if they even exist.

Our course has a Co-ed league during season. Many of the courses in our area do. It is couples as well as singles and they play once per week.

There are both in this area. There are 3-4 leagues such as a T&D golf league that is co-ed, as well as the Boot Ranch and Rocky Point golf leagues that are both co-ed. Those leagues rotate between 3-4 different courses and run for about 3-4 months at a time.

Then many courses, like ours, in the area also have a co-ed league in which you play just that course and sign up accordingly.

How would one find out about those leagues? Course websites?

Most do not advertise them except in house. I can see about grabbing you some literature and scanning it for you. But there seem to be quite a few in this area. You could always come and visit...hehe

Hah! No, I was just looking for tips on how to find them here. I thought maybe I was overlooking something. I've Googled my brains out - so far with no luck.

I will ask our local pro if he knows of any in your area. He has family in Seattle.

I would call the local golf courses and ask the pro about whether their course has them. Straight to the source, you know?

The league I play in is co-ed, it's through the company one of my cousins works for. There are only three women that play in it. We play partners and alternate games, scramble, best ball and individual score.

I was asked to join one here in Tucson last year by a husband and wife I got paired with. It sounded like fun, but I didn't have a co-ed partner. My wife can't play because of her physical problems and I just didn't know anyone else. Like the others, I would call around the local courses and talk to the pros.

I know of several near me (I play on one) but they are organized at the course level, nothing national or even state wide. I also play with the ASGA which is a national singles group. I would check with your pick of golf courses; we pick up members through word-of-mouth, usually the barmaid's.

I am not familiar of any in the Saint Louis area but I like the idea. My club only has men’s and woman’s leagues but we also have a lot of co-ed tournaments. They are always a good time. My wife and I are playing another one in early September where you can invite guests to play so were are playing with a husband/wife team we are good friends with.

In the area where I grew up in NW Wisconsin, most of the local courses had a "couples" league that played every week. Usually they were just through the specific course and were not advertised.

Probably your best bet would be to inquire at the different clubhouses in your area to see if they run similar leagues.

I know people who play coed leagues through work--pump your buddies at Starbucks, Microsoft, and Boeing.

As others have said, our club has mixed golf on Sunday afternoons. But it's pretty much intended for couples. When the kids are a little older...

They tried co-ed golf at 1 course here. Didn't work out very well though, the women were far to anal about the rules
