When they look down at their shiny Pro V1, Nike One, TM Black etc. whilst holding a lob wedge? I just look down in horror knowing this full 60 degree shot is gonna give my ball a dang haircut! Hit one yesturday and saw the paint stick up from 70 yards as it checked and rolled back. Ugh, new grooves may not be so bad.

On the other hand, I take great pride in the hair cuts I give. I smile like a clown when I hit a solid wedge. I get almost giddy watching the ball dance on the green. I just can't wait to see those little strands of cover sticking up. Remember Chicks dig scares even on golf balls. So, play them scared up balls

I don't care if it gets scuffed. I like to spin a lob wedge. I like to see it bite and skip to a halt by the hole.
I had a set of MaxFli Revolution irons that I just loved. They had the sharpest grooves I've ever had on a set. Playing a soft ball, it made them look like tennis balls in 3 or 4 holes. |
