Do You Have Multiple Swings?

I do. One for the driver, 3 metal, and futility club and another swing for all my irons. Iron swing much more compact and a little quicker. Driver swing...much more languid and sweeping. A little looser.

Are you the teaching pro's dream (ie. one swing for all clubs) or do you improvise a bit with longer or shorter clubs?

PS. If you have more than one swing....please detail the why's and how's of that necessity.

I have sometimes been accused of having multiple personalities, but swings?

No.

Yes. And I would say most people do too. You're not going to swing your driver the same way you would your wedges?

I swing my driver more around me, kind of like a "hook" swing. My 3W I swing more over the top. Irons I all swing the same, and wedges the same as my irons.

I have many, many different swings. But not on purpose.

The swings are probably a little different but i try to maintain the same rythmn and tempo.

Yes. As crazy as it sounds I have a stack and tilt like swing for my irons and a more conventional swing for my woods.

That is a very apt description. As my clubs get shorter, my swing gets more and more upright by design. Tempo is something I work to maintain through my entire set.

With the wedges I have a steeper swing than I do when hitting the rest of my clubs.
When the wedges you want a steeper swing so that you hit down on the ball more, giving more backspin.
