Usually PW, 7iron, 5iron, 3Hybrid, Driver ... in that order. Finish with a few 20 yard pitches.

Depends on what I need to work on, presently it's the new Irons, I find myself hitting the 6I the most.

SW, PW, 8i, 7i, 5i, 3H, 3wood in that order. When I practice the driver I hit the whole bucket with it.

I'm not fond of practicing, but when I do - it's really only my wedges. I try to putt at home on the carpet during the Winter too.

I always start with the pitching wedge. I use it as my warm up club, start with ¾ swings to about 80 yards, and work it up until I'm throwing them near 120.

Then it's the 7 and then the 5, my 3H, 4w and finally driver. I leave about 15-20 balls at the end to shoot at the 50 and 60 yard targets with my lob wedge.

I always try to hit the short game area before I even buy a bucket of balls, so chipping is covered.

Mostly wedges and short irons.

To me, the wedge swing is the engine of the golf swing and I try to take the tempo, timing, weight shift and overall lazy feel of hitting wedges and apply it to all of my other clubs.

Doesn't always work, but when it does it's like stealing.

Depends on what I'm doing. Prepping for tournament or just playing or working on swing.

Tournament warm ups.

Loosen up with 40-50 different wedge shots. 20 six irons with feeling of how swing is performing.
Then I look at card and see what the yardages of par 3's are.Hit 5-6 shots to each of those yardages.
Then look at first hole and picture what I will hit off first tee.Hit 4-6 shots with that club to see what today's tendicies will be and play for that shot.

Then off to putting green for chipping and pitching and putting. My routine will last 1-1 1/2 hrs.

=====================================

If it's just a regular round then it's a medium bucket of balls. 20 wedge shots of varying yardages and the rest is just 6 irons and maybe 3-4 3 wood shots.

I have reversed my wedges and six irons as of late though. Warm up with smooth soft 6 irons ,then increase speed. Then hit the 3 wood shots and finish with wedges.

Reason for this was Freddy Couples used to warm up with wedges first and his instructor begged him to save them for last, cause the wedges can create the wrong tempo.I'm thinking I'm agreeing with that train of thought.

With Tournament round it's only 20 wedges at first to loosen up and not strain any muscles. then the rest as stated above then finish with 20-30 wedges again to gain feel for the soft shots
