Trees.

I'm beginning to learn my lesson at a buddy's course, which has about 5,000 trees. You hit the drive off line, take your medicine and hit out safely. Nothing quite like hitting a shot and being farther away than you were, which I witnessed several times with guys trying to make too much out of nothing.

On my home course tonight, find myself behind a huge ash tree after the drive. I choose a sand wedge to plop it back into the fairway, but cut the shot too close...rejected.

Watching those guys on the PGA tour thread it through the woods like they do...remarkable.
