I observed Lucas Glover miss a putt simply to left of the pot today. Therefore he visited backhand it in (which he did) the ball was just several inches from the pot. Right before he tapped the ball, he stopped and lifted the putter as much as make certain that the flange hit the ball easily, because he was utilizing the straight back of the putter hitting the ball, and that got me thinking. Imagine if the putter wasn't raised by him and the flange slid under the ball and the ball rolled up onto the flange of the putter and remained there as the team, when he visited clean the ball in to the pit swung upward? I understand it's unlikely to possess something similar to that happen but because lots of people get a from the green in this way, it could happen, therefore what might function as the judgment, if it did? -JP
