Default A "flier" or "flyer"? Your support and description with a "blow up hole."
I was often under the effect that a pamphlet was whenever a ball, when hit from the tough, leaves with small back spin which in turn causes it to shout over the green after it strikes a trend that happened. If I'm mistaken after the next happened I'm wondering. I was informed I experienced one several days before while it and playing ended up it was one of the few spots on an otherwise outstanding round for me personally. I was enjoying Arthur Hills Course @ Palmetto Dunes Hilton Head (beautiful btw) and was on hole #17 (described below from both distance book and a less creatively correct on the web representation of the hole where I've found my chance pathways). My tee shot was performed with a wood and was pushed slightly and notably lengthy, which with the extreme dog-leg left, gave about 165 to me provided GPS readings. I'd an excellent rest in tough which was not unreasonably long. There was a minor left to right wind and the ball was somewhat below my feet and there was little height difference between the green and the ball. I targeted left notably to account fully for the wind and rest and I swung strongly, but no tougher than I often do. The ball rose majestically and was directly on line at the flag. Imagine my horror when I found basketball travel a great 20-25 meters over the green ON THE FLY, property on the wagon path and get what looked such as for instance a 10 story jump in to the woods behind the green. I carded a six on the pit and was dejected. My playing companions kept declaring that I "caught a flyer." They also took discussion of it in to the club where they were telling others concerning the "epic" wagon way rebound it took. I'm some of those who loves to study from his errors. That said, I don't know if this 200 yard six iron can be explained by me I struck. Any feelings or a few ideas? Was it a "flyer?" Have I been mistaken each one of these years on which a flyer is? I know I are usually long winded. Thanks for hanging in there and scanning this much and thanks in advance for some of you that will prefer to weigh in.
