No wonder most Somalis and Afghanis prefer to claim asylum in the west than fellow Muslim countries in the Gulf and Arabian peninsular The jews have a history of holocausts not just 'Nazi Germany'. Muslims too have had holocausts in Spain (Andalus), Greece, Balkans & several eastern european countries (slaughter/banishment of turks). Personally I can feel it the air. One more 911 may well be the tipping point. After all, check out the net, the most repected religion for 'peace & friendliness' are the buhdists. Where as the christians are numero uno for intolerence. Right now, they too are waking up from their slumber. Look at Europe. |

What makes you think there is safety in the West. We have been ordered by Muhammad SAW to make hijrah to the muslim lands. Not vica versa. His advice is beneficial. If you feel safe in the West then you are fool hardy. If you escape the coming holocaust your children will not. You will feel better in the morning........ |

In the news now Why blame Bangladesh alone: What are the other 50 odd muslim countries doing. ======================== The message we get from gulf; We have a major issue of 1. Where is Allah SWT. 2. Rafayadain, Ameen bil jahar, Fatihah behind Imam, Taraweeh and other very important issues. We are busy with handling these major issues. All our zakat funds are already utilised for publishing and distributing costly free books on these important subjects. And we are left with no funds. Also we don't have any spare time left. ================================================== Poor Bangladeshis themselves having problems. Every year they face floods, boat capsize etc. They look for funds from Muslim countries who are blessed with wealth from Allah SWT. |

I personally do not support the Government of Bangladesh's stand on this . But to be fare regardless of the sincerity of the people involved
( something we are not able to distinguish beyond a reasonable doubt ) they do have some rational . The government of Burma wants the entire population of Rohingya displaced and indirectly commit genocide of a whole nation . See the thread here for details . The Bangladesh government's standing is they must be firm on this matter to prevent further obvious problems for Bangladesh and more importantly to make the international community to get involved for the sake of the Rohingya . Racist government in Burma will like nothing better then to see the whole community of Muslims leave Burma. They do not want to acknowledge them as citizen and will not take responsibility . Never before seen shamelessness from the top people in Burma . Su chi is getting the nobel prize and talking reopening business with the west. You see the media grilling her on her responsibility in all this ? |

![]() brother tisatashar there are so many things wrong with ur post. The west has the worst foreign policy for Muslims but is still one of the safest place to seek refuge, that we must give them credit for. Bangladesh govt's behavior is unjustifiable. Theres no excuse. This isnt a new issue and they have done nothing in the last few decades to help them or raise awareness. Poverty is not an excuse for this. |

Suu Kyi: asked in London about the plight of the Rohingya, she could only say she didn’t know whether the Rohingya were “Burmese” or not. That time she did not sound like the democracy and human rights icon .
On the other hand if she spoke loud and clear for the human rights of the Rohingya, she risked losing the support of the activists in the NLD who are dripping with hatred for these “non-Burmese.” Therein lies her quandary. http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Southea.../NG17Ae01.html Aung San Suu Kyi, Nobel laureate and democracy icon of Myanmar, stated during her historic trip to Europe in June, "My major concern is that the people in Burma [Myanmar] could have no longer trust in the current processes for political transition." Her statement came against a background of rising expectations not among people in Myanmar, but also of the international community about the prospects of a democratic transition in Myanmar. ..... |
