Default USA: Stop buying oil from Iran or face financial sanctions!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-18405298

The US has exempted seven countries from economic sanctions in return for cutting imports of Iranian oil.
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said waivers were granted to India, South Korea, Malaysia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Turkey.
Under a US law signed in December, countries have until 28 June to greatly reduce oil imports from Iran or be cut off from the US financial system.

The US financial system, just like most of the worlds financial system is just based on an imposed, fairy tale belief that this money has value. If it was not for this imposed, fairy tale belief, then the US would have zero financial clout with which to throw their weight around. ALL the governments of the world who are part of this system, including muslim governments such as pakistan and saudi, are all guilty of the fitnah of this ribah based economy. ALL muslims and ALL muslim governments should revolt against this satanic, ribah based economy. By supporting this ribah based economy, we are supporting the kuffar and helping them to impose themselves upon Allah's earth.

I did hear about that some time back and the situation is not at all in favour of the US. But then the news disappeared from the scene. I could not make out the mechanism behind that debt process. US was indebted to even India.

One of the many expertize of the US is the media management.

I'd like to think of small-small things that are unmanageable by the US but collectively they bring it down. Like twoiran ababeel.

Kindly get the link. And we should have a thread about it. I suppose there has been sporadic discussion about media savvy nature of the detractors of Islam but we have not paid enough attention to it. This is one of the topics that should be constantly under focus.

I suppose this too is one of the points that we got to worry about. We do not have many such brothers here but that is because they just do not agree with us nor they care about our way of looking at the things.

It's just a matter of time. People won't have to sacrifice their lifestyles- they'll lose them, whether they like it or not. It's already happening in America.

Yes, but they can keep rolling that over and over by way of bail-out/increased 'debt ceiling' - previous debt ceiling (limit) was $15.2Trillion, was raised to $16.4Trillion earlier this year. Refer to the article below:

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/27/us...rise.html?_r=1

They can continue doing this as long as the rest of the world trades with them for much needed US T-Bills.
