Assalamu alaykum

Other day I was introduced to one brother (not from TJ) as "this brother gives dawah to elites and the intellectuals". Then the introduced brother spoke "Unlike others giving to dawah to the street vendors, rickshaw pullers , luggage careers etc (it would yield no result with them), we give dawah to educated and elite class".

I could not tolerate it and I left the place,
I think I know where these great Da'ees usually come from, may Allah SWT guide him, aameen. I'd have walked out too.

you should have had it out with him. put him on the spot. you should have asked him if jannat was just for the rich and educated. should have brought his attention to the fact that the Prophet was illiterate and poor just like the people that he does not deem worthy of inviting to Allah and His Rasool

the brother himself needs inviting. take him in jamaat.

I quote from

100 ranking of the most influential persons in History.

Michael H Hart.

My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world’s most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questionable by others, but…………..

……………The majority of the persons in this book had the advantage of being born and raised in centers of civilizations, highly cultured or politically pivotal nations, Muhammed, however, was born in the year 570, in the city of Mecca, in southern Arabia, at that time a backward area of the world, far from the centers of trade, art, and learning.

………….their numbers was small; and plagued by disunity and internecine warfare, they had been no match for the larger armies of the kingdoms in the settled agricultural areas to the north. However, unified by Muhammed for the first time in history, and inspired by their fervent belief in the one true God, these small Arab armies now embarked upon one of the most astonishing series of conquests in human history…………...

The story of Syeduna Zaahir RA.

"O Zaahir, whatever value the people may place on you, your value in the sight of Allah SWT is not little, it is great".
Jazak Allah khair,

what a beautiful reminder and discussion
may Allah SWT bless you for sharing
