Default Do you want Moulana Taliban to return to SF or not?
I thought he was joking but hes serious, Moulana Taliban has left the SF. This am I emailed him telling him to return. We want more Ulama and Mashaikh active on here. So I am creating poll to show that we want him back. The question is simple, do you want him back or not and I doubt anyone will say no (maybe out of joke). Hopefully he will see the results and decide to come back, we miss his posts.

If moulana is reading:

You have the opportunity on SF to touch a vast world-wide crowd, many people who really want to get in and stay in contact with Ulama Mashaikh but for whatever reason cant, for many people SF is their only means to keep in contact with Ulama Mashaikheen. Do not deny people this. At least post once a week.

I think , this post and this poll can be another fitnah for Molana Taliban. IF we love him, we should not become the devil in his path. I recall the brother left because he sensed Fitnah on this Forum. I am assuming the brother is an Ahlul Dhikr, and hence such people sense things above average. Maybe his time is being spent more in tafakur, muraqabat, dhikr, fikr, tilawat, sujood, ilm, tableegh. And now if we push him back, by showing our love then basically we are calling him to fall back to where he was and join us in the same boat we are.

My sincere advise is that Ask Hazrat, if he has felt sukoon in his Qalb, and more khusho after leaving forum, then we should not trap a brother back into the futile discussions and arguments. Yes few people come here on this forum and ask genuine questions and then leave. But alot of us have time on hand and we do discussions for the sake of discussions. How many time have we first made dwa to Allah that oh Allah iam logging into sunni forum to find the correct path to you and to help others who need, and then logged in, How many times have we made this niyyah that iam only logging in to do tableegh and taleem on sunni forum.

So better leave the brother alone, and if he wills to come back, then bismillah, we will always learns something, if he is busy with better and afzal stuff, then why should we be the cause for him to come back down to this level. Wasalam.

I voted 'no' because Moulana Taliban made a choice that was better for him and we shouldn't be trying to encourage him to change his mind.

Doesn't he have a blog?

Why not just seek his advice and contact him there instead of insisting for him to come back here?

Because some people respect him and the decision that he made.

Moulana Taliban said that he was spending too much time on here and chose to leave because of this.
Why try to drag him back to something that isn't good for him by his own reasoning?

Because 12 yes to 3 no speaks for itself. Do you really think that Moulana Taliban doesnt know how to organize his time properly? That is why I am telling Moulana to do 1 post a week, thats all.

People wanting him to come back does not mean that it's better for him to do so.

To quote Moulana Taliban:

"And Maulana is leaving because Maulana is wasting alot of time on SF and neglecting his duties.

And Maulana thinks that Fitnah or no Fitnah, it is not write for sisters/brothers to address each other unnecessarily.

Have you ever noticed how most of the mods don't post much on SF.. Ever thought why? Maybe cause they themselves find it a waste of time
"

If he felt that he was "wasting alot of time and neglecting his duties" then it doesn't matter if it's 1 post per week or 100 posts if to him it's wasting time and causing him to neglect his duties.
He felt that it was necessary for him to leave.

You asked do I think that he doesn't know how to organize his time properly.
I do think he knows how to organize his time because in doing so he chose to leave sunniforum to pay closer attention to his duties.

Let me ask you this:
Do you really think he doesn't know what's better for him?
Do you really think he has so little education and understanding that he doesn't know how to make good decisions for himself?
You want him to back here to advise others when you consider his decision to leave incorrect because 12 people (who may or may not be Alim/Alima and know him and his situation personally) said he should come back?

If someone came to him and told him they were wasting too much time on a forum and neglecting their duties and he told them to leave the forum, would you encourage them to follow his advice or tell them to visit the forum anyway because other people said it's ok?
