![]() Man i'm really tired of your blogs, first a link here then another link in your blog then a third one in that link!!!! Khair, since you guys are Indians, you can give a clear picture. We hear that muslims are living very peacefully and have all the Azaadi to practice their deen in India, more than in Pakistan? ![]() |

Fahd have rightly mentioned the implementation of UID will give correct stats of muslim population.
At highly polarised places like punjab/haryana/gujarat, at places where muslims are living in few numbers, they tend to hide their identity with hindu name, in the aftermath of partition and riots. I remember the name and lifestyle of muslims in the border village of punjab, it is difficult to identify them. The scars of partition is still green in their minds. Also note that the dalits who are buddhist and not hindus should be categorised separately, then Jains are not hindus, Sikhs are not hindus hence correct stats of hindu s will come out. I think there must be minimum 25% muslims in India. I agree with bro Taliban regarding the cumbersome step of going thru the blog hyperlink mention in Dr saab's link. |

![]() That statement is partly true. Muslims can perform the rituals of Islam peacefully in most places of India but prejudices and hatred exist. I don't know about how things are in Pak so can't compare between the two. |
