Assalamu alaykum

I came accross this very interesting video:

http://ahmedamiruddin.wordpress.com/...dec-17th-2010/

now if all of those mentioned countries collapse before muharram I might ocnsider getting ready to go to larnaca to renew my baya'a with the shaikh and renounce "Salafism" and if they dont happen before muharram, will his followers admit he's a fraud? Or will the "oh you dont know teh hidden meanings of what he was saying" excuses come out again?

When a sufi says the car is black he really means sainsburies has a 50% sale on tomatoes.

Even if he is right, if his practices conflict with the Shari'ah they have to be reject. The real sufis follow this principle; Salafi's have no principles.

Forgive me brother Seeker Of Tasawwuf, but these liberal sufis are just the opposite end of the spectrum in relation to the wahabis. They're so entrenched on denouncing (takfir) each other that I think they forget the ultimate goal.

That is quite worrying, you're willing to base your imaan on the predictions of a man that has been known to go against the sharia on many issues.

I think we really need to look at who we define to be a pious person; if it depends on a prediction then Allah help us when the Dajjal appears not only will he predict but he will also perform!

i was being sarcastic bro, i dont believe his prediction will come true. He predicted the end of the world 20 years ago and nothing happened yet ppl follow him. How willl his followers justify following him this time after muharram?
