assalamualaikum...

i have a question about the salat time software.... i live in a neighbourhood in india... there arent mosques in this neighbourhood... i mean there are but a little far off... i am not able to listen to the adhan... so what i did was i downloaded a software the salat time... but the problem is i think maybe the salat time might just b giving the call for prayer say 5 min. before time... so i end up praying... i want to know if its wrong if i am following the salat time software... i just found out a little while ago after i finished praying fajr i could here the salah but not so clearly... so basically i am in a dilemma here... plz. tell me if its wrong... as soon as possible so i can work something out...

Walaikumusalaam

Did you hear the salah or the adhan.? Salah starts in the mosque few mins after the Adhan. So its not a problem. But if you heard the adhan then you are right the Software is giving Adhan a bit earlier. Check if the time set in your Computer is correct. The Adhan software relies on it. If the time is fast then it will give Adhan early.

am sorry i heard the adhan... they give prayer timings in the newspapers also... you think i should set the time acoording to that ... would it be better ??? thank u for ur time...
