[Off topic]

when my tiny agricultural farm will be able to stand on its own feet, I'll offer this type of investment proposal.

Make Dua for me and for my tiny farm. May Allaah give barakat and keep me steadfast on my noble intention to serve Deen with the money I'll earn.

Hazrat, I've started with vegetables. But the investment and size of the farm are so tiny that I'm ashamed of mentioning these. I'm not professional, its just an "extra curricular activity" or "part time job" type of thing. I'm optimistic to take it as my profession after finishing study .

Allah put barkat in it. I think everyone should grow their own food. Bro dr76 do you know why people seem to have more water in their bodies these days? I cupped someone the other day and instead of bad blood i ended up collecting water! What is worrying me is that ive been noticing this in many people recently

Zahed, what have you planted? You researched into hydroponics/ aquaponics/ integrated farming with goat/chicken/duck?

Shaykh,

I'm thinking about growing vegetables commercially.

Zahed, what have you planted? You researched into hydroponics/ aquaponics/ integrated farming with goat/chicken/duck? I've just grown the seedlings of cabbage and tomato. A flash flood followed by rain has delayed the plantation.

I'll try to establish an integrated farm consisting of livestock, fisheries and plants. I'm freshly graduated in Agricultural Engineering. I mostly studied about agricultural machineries. But farming had always been a great interesting thing to me.

Welcome back shaikh..! been missing u since long..

well we always contained large amounts of water since Hazrat Adam ..

says Arthur Guyton's Textbook of Physiology..

"The total amount of water in a man of average weight (70 kilograms) is approximately 40 litres, averaging 57 percent of his total body weight. In a newborn infant, this may be as high as 79 percent of the body weight, but it progressively decreases from birth to old age, most of the decrease occurring during the first 10 years of life. Also, obesity decreases the percentage of water in the body, sometimes to as low as 45 percent".

These figures are statistical averages, so are illustrative, and like all biostatistics, will vary with things like type of population, age and number of people sampled, and methodology. So there is not, and cannot be, a figure that is exactly the same for all people, for this or any other physiological measure. For example, Jackson's (1985) Anatomy & Physiology for Nurses gives a figure of 60% for the proportion of body-weight attributable to water, which approximates Guyton's 57%.

In diseased states where body water is affected, the compartment or compartments that have changed can give clues to the nature of the problem. Body water is regulated by hormones, including anti-diuretic hormone (ADH), aldosterone and atrial natriuretic peptide."

so u hitting on water while cupping is probably a lymph vessel.. unless u cupped a watermelon....!

duas..

wa assalam..

MashaAllah, Allah make it easy for you. Read up on integrated farming more. Ex: pond growing tilapia or sea bass below, connected to grow beds which pump water from the pond to grow beds (aqua ponic) setup. On top of the pond you have goats or chicken or ducks. I hear that the fish grow upto 85% heavier this way.

Dont forget the goats. You can always get london786 to tend to them when he feels like he wants to do some mujahida

They guy fell 70 feet off a coconut tree and broke his arm. I dont know what gymnastics he was trying at 70 feet above the ground but he just missed hitting a few people and a very angry bull that was there for Qurban. So ive been hitting everyones lymph vessel?

for all the info, Allah reward you and take you to Mianji Saheb (db) often and give you what he gave Mianji Saheb (db)

He is much more than that. Except for freaking out and jumping around when he sees frogs, he can even manage lions and tigers. He met a frog at my place and almost jumped out of his skin.

Zaheds goat tending will do you some good too away from the itr shops and the kebabs and the chai

Reminds me of a collegue while doing post graduation.. he was a North indian and was naturally challenged to the local language.. it was the OPD day and an old man stepped in.
our man tried his best to communicate with some gestures and broken words..completely examined him.. ultimately coming to the conclusion that his patient is alright..

The overseeing consultant seated some distance away finally asked him.. ***** do u know what ur doing.. ?.. he stammered sirrr... and the consultant replied.. ' u have just examined the patients attender..!'

So ive been hitting everyones lymph vessel? rather the coconut tree..

ameen to all the duas..

wa assalam..

we have some organic vegetables and fruit growing in our garden at home. we dont have a very big space to play with, but managed to get the most out of it by utilising planters attached to the walls. its just enough for me and my family to eat from now and again. mainly we do this to learn and for practice. inshallah in the future might move on to something bigger.

try to use organic methods and grow organic produce. try to aquire organic seeds from organic plants inshallah.

any pics of your farm?

MashaAllah, the garden looks great. You can grow more using hydroponics/ aquaponics inshaAllah. Check these:

going to be moving to a new house soon with a bigger garden. inshallah will grow more there. also planning on having a small archery range in the back garden. there is a big field behind the house that apparently does not belong to anyone. i have some tablighi sathis who are interested in buying a horse together to keep on the field. make dua we pull it off. all this is just for practice.
