By all means go head and watch Mufti Menk. His lectures are good. I don't see why it won't be halal.

Mufti Menk is great. I've watched many of his lectures myself. He's an extremely knowledgeable person, and his Qur'an recitation is superb.

Continue watching his lectures, you'll learn a lot.
