House in Paradise for Umar (RA) was already built
Jabir reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying:I entered Paradise and saw in it a house or a palace. I said: For whom is it resersred? They (the Angels) said: It is for 'Umar b. Khattab. (The Holy Prophet said to 'Umar b. Khattab): I intended to get into it but I thought of your feelings. Thereupon 'Umar wept and said: Apostle of Allah, could I feel any jealousy in your case? Reference Book 031, Number 5896: (Sahih Muslim) |

"umar ibn al_khaTTaab (R+) reaction when The Messenger of ALLAAH (A*) (S+) give him a forbidden cloak.
846. It is related from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar that 'Umar ibn al-Khattab saw a silk robe by the door of the mosque and said, "Messenger of Allah, if you were to buy this you could wear it on the day of Jumu'a and to receive delegations when they come to you." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "This will only be worn by someone who has no share of the Next World." Afterwards cloaks of a similar kind were brought to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he gave one of them to 'Umar ibn al-Khattab. 'Umar said, "Messenger of Allah! You give it to me when you said what you said about the cloak of 'Atarid!" The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "I did not give it to you to wear." 'Umar gave it to a brother of his who was an idolater in Makka." to be continued inshaa allaah |
