I have been always creeped by yoga out for a number of factors, and as it gets I'm as anti-Lotus Jew about, but it's no further sacrilegious to do a sunlight praise than it's to throw a football. Both have now been called a and/or a science....but it's perhaps not your religion, is it? Yoga is Jewish too. Real activity, is individual. When it operates for you...who cares? Changing Judaism for Buddhism? Not too great. A religious Jew shouldn't be bowing towards any sculptures or performing Jesus hymns. That's good sense, no internal battle. At the conclusion of the course, you simply don't bend. You'll find yoga courses of each concept and selection at this time, and many of them are stripped of faith. It's a simply prevented problem. What's difficult to prevent is contact with external beliefs. That's not really a danger to somebody safe within their own values. Uttering what "downward dog" isn't idolatry for goodness sakes.
