I am amazed that so much is being put into equine stem cell research. This is a Canadian University. Last week, I was involved in trying to get both a Senate and House Bill co-sponsored to prevent the transportation of unwanted horses from the U.S. into Canada and Mexico for slaughter. Somehow, this all doesn't seem to go together or is it just the million dollar race horses that are the subject of so much attention?
