I had never made this before. I tried to make it today. I guess it came out okay. I'm not really a fan of things that are chocolate, but all of the posts I have been reading made me want to try it!
With my first attempt, I didn't like it. I used 1 1/2 tsp of Xylitol. I wasn't sure if the receipe meant tsp or Tablespoons (I'm not really much of a cook/baker lol). I tried to make it a second time but used 1 1/2 Tablespoons of the Xylitol. That made it taste a little better to me, but I'm wondering if that was too much? I am interest to see what others Mug Cakes look like - I am more of a visual person so I think that might help me to know that i am somewhat doing it right. To me, the cake looks a little odd...kind of spongy looking. Is that how it is supposed to look? I *think* it tastes alright, but again, I'm not really a chocolate fan and it probably would be something I had all of the time. So I'm curious - and hoping that someone will be brave and post a picture of their Mug cake ![]() |
