This is from the company where we get our powdered colostrum supply. We private label it which helps keep the cost down. www.seachangeforlife.com
If you think 1,000 miles in 10 days on a bicycle isn't enough... Letitia also has Lupus, an autoimmune disorder which can be devastating. Below is copied an email which Letitia recently sent. Hello, I just read your article about colostrum and the immune system and wanted to tell you about how it has helped me. You are probably aware that Lupus is an autoimmune disease. I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2001 and have endured some really bad episodes where it has made me too ill to get out of bed. Having had steriod treatment and taking various different drugs that made me feel worse not better, I decided to try something else. After trying colostrum I noticed an almost immediate difference and I find that on days where I forget to take it, I really notice a difference in how swollen my joints are. Although I think that every person is different and must treat their Lupus in different ways I also think that taking colostrum has got to be worth a go - after all there are no nasty side effects. I havent taken my drugs for a year now and simply treat my Lupus with Colostrum and a strict control of my diet and nutrition. So far I havent had a bad episode since I started taking the Colostrum. This year, after many years of wanting to do it, I am going to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats (the entire length of the UK). As far as I know I will be the first woman with Lupus to do this. I plan to do it in ten days, cycling 100 miles a day. And with the help of my huge bag of supplements and colostrum I hope to do it! You can sponsor me at: http://www.justgiving.com/tishmegaride/ Contributions go to Lupus UK. I hope that what little I can raise for Lupus UK can have an impact on the research and support for people with the disease. I would love it if you might include my story in your next newsletter as I am a bit behind my fundraising target! Kind Regards, Letitia |
