So for the last 4 days I have been experiencing an extreme amount of anxiety, this is day 9 of Ketosis. I normally have GAD but it is never this extreme, I actually had a panic attack one day. My energy level is affecting my ability to even sit for long periods of time and to focus, is this normal in the beginning? Does it eventually even out after I am able to add in more carbs? The energy is wonderful but not the anxiety that is now constant. Any suggestions?
I am eating meats, cheese, butter, olive oil, salad, celery with cream cheese, eggs....the proper menu and am eating my 20 carbs a day. I dont drink anything but water, I had one diet soda in the last 9 days and a couple of random bites of the Atkins bars so I didn't have a breakdown. I also have had some avacado, couple of mini tomatoes and half an artichoke one day. So is anxiety normal or should I possibly increase my carbs? Has anyone else experienced this? |
