Hopefully the weather is about to become a lot more tolerable, making outside treks a lot more enjoyable and frequent. Get off your butt and get some miles on those feet. Whether you're an exercise enthusiast or a beginner just walking 15 minutes a day, join in for some motivation!!!
The way this works is that you set a goal (so many minutes for the month, X amount of workouts for the month, X amount of miles walked, etc) and *gasp* try to meet it. You will lose your ability to edit your posts after a period of time so you'll need to make a new post w/ your new workouts listed. I will merge all your posts into one post by the end of the month. Please do not quote your posts w/ each new workout. It only creates more work. Thanks!!! My goal for September will be 2500 minutes. Goal: 2500 minutes Total so far: 2335 minutes 1 - 5 minutes marching in place 2 - 60 minutes DanceFit Class + 50 minutes walking the trail by my house + 5 minutes marching in place + 35 minutes playing UFC Trainer 3 - 5 minutes marching in place + 35 minutes at the gym 4 - 5 minutes marching in place + 90 minutes at the gym 5 - 5 minutes marching in place + 80 minutes at the gym 6 - 5 minutes marching in place + 80 minutes at the gym 7 - 62 minutes walking the trail by my house + 80 minutes at the gym 8 - 52 minutes walking the trail by my house + 5 minutes marching in place + 50 minutes cleaning 9 - 51 minutes walking the trail by my house + 5 minutes marching in place 10 - 5 minutes marching in place 11 - 5 minutes marching in place + 45 minutes crunches and stretches + 15 minutes cleaning 12 - 70 minutes pushing around 100 plus pounds of groceries + 80 minutes at the gym 13 - 40 minutes at the gym + 5 minutes marching in place + 60 minutes DanceFit Class 14 - 5 minutes marching in place + 80 minutes at the gym 15 - 5 minutes marching in place + 45 minutes packing/loading the car 16 - 100 minutes hiking the mountains at Old Stone Fort 17 - 95 minutes WARRIOR DASH!!!!!!!!!! + 45 minutes walking (to get hosed down/to and from the car/etc) 18 - 45 minutes breaking down camp/packing/loading the car + 150 minutes geocaching 19 - Well deserved Rest Day, LOL 20 - 5 minutes marching in place 21 - 50 minutes walking the trail by my house 22 - 5 minutes marching in place 23 - 5 minutes marching in place + 120 minutes on the exercise ball + 60 minutes at the gym 24 - 5 minutes marching in place 25 - 5 minutes marching in place + 27 minutes walking around the lake + 60 minutes on the exercise ball + 13 minutes cleaning at work 26 - 80 minutes at the gym + 15 minutes packing/cleaning 27 - 55 minutes DanceFit Class + 5 minutes marching in place + 60 minutes cleaning/packing 28 - 5 minutes marching in place + 30 minutes on the exercise ball 29 - 5 minutes marching in place + 60 minutes on the exercise ball 30 - 5 minutes marching in place |

I haven't spent much time here, but I have read thru your challenges. I think it's an excellent idea.
I've put so much weight on in the past few months and need motivation. I'm hoping this will help. I'm hoping for some activity every day, not setting a time goal, yet, just going to see how things pan out. |

September goal: Lose 5lbs (finally reach my 100lbs lost!!), work out most days of the month.
1- Running around doing chores and packing most of the night, I will burn some calories! 2- Toronto exercise ![]() 3- Toronto 4- Toronto 5- Toronto 6- None 7- None 8- None 9- None 10- 15 minutes weights 11- 20 minutes running, 25 minutes weights 12- None, my schedule is too full today but I'd kill to run. If I'm not dead tired after work I will try to force 10 minutes of sprinting. 13- 25 minutes on my trampoline (LOVE it!) 14- Hoping for at least 10 minutes on the trampoline; tonight I'm at work/school from 7:30am-10:30pm heh 15- 60 minutes tramopline 16- 90 minutes walking/lifting boxes for a lunch and learn/cleaning 17- I plan at least 90 minutes today 18- I plan at least 90 minutes tomorrow I lost three pounds this week! Back to 96 lbs lost, I can just taste the 100. Grrr. lol 19- 10 minutes trampoline/weights 20- 20 minutes trampoline/weights 21- exhaustion ![]() 22- I plan 30 minutes trampoline/weights I'm sure I will have to do something different soon or I will hit a plateau with the trampoline...sigh |
