Default Reasons for stalling
I just came across this article by Michael Eades which is very clearly written and explains what MIGHT be the reason if your weight loss stalls. I suggest everyone reads this before this happens to you, so you can be aware of what you are maybe doing wrong!

I've given up cheese now!

Absolutely an excellent article. I too am "cutting out the cheese" immediately!

Thanks for sharing!

That's proper clever. Thanks for posting it. Anybody want this cheddar? Although I think it's nuts that get me. I can't leave them alone. In fact, I think I might be growing a bushy tail.

That post is very true. It is easy to overdo the cheese and nuts. I think they should be used as condiments and not the main part of a meal.

Agreed, Cynda... nuts and cheese as a small snack, as a garnish, but NEVER as a protein substitute. I find that a little bit of VERY good cheese is way better than a whole block of so-so stuff. Same for nuts. Macadamia are very expensive, but they're also the highest fat, lowest carb nut. It's easier to eat fewer of those than, say, almonds. We don't count calories... but calories do count.

...and just when you thought you'd got that licked - there's acid balance... Blimey!

A chart here, and some how-to steps here,

I wouldn't suggest you go eating grains and stuff, but remember that all meat is acidic, and so is fat. (that's why we call them fatty acids). So give your body a break with some nice spinach from time to time. I can't vouch for the science of this, but there's lots of anecdotal stuff online from people saying they've lost weight just by sorting their acidity out. You never know, it could be a reason you might stall?

And hey - Just when you thought Ketostix were the best fun you could have in the bathroom, we get something else to play with!

you are kidding. I can eat a pound of macadamia nuts, good job I can't afford them.
David I can't be doing with acid balance as well - is it really important?
