Hi I'm a newbie to this site but not to low carb, but over the years I've lost my way a bit! Recently I found out about the Stillman diet online and decided to give it a go. It's low carb and low fat, which makes it quite low calorie as well. Anyway, I lost 8 lbs in 4 days which is amazing but all of a sudden it's stopped, although I'm following the diet to the letter. It's so strict it makes Atkins induction look like a walk in the park but I'm scared that if I switch to Atkins and start consuming fat my 8 lbs might go straight on again!
As I'm used to old school Atkins I'm a bit confused about the emphasis placed on vegetables now as I used to lose without them before. It is from a health aspect or do they actually help you lose? This seems to be a really clued up and sensible forum so I would really appreciate any help or advice anyone could give me. Thanks a lot x |
