You get quite sweaty tanning. I did it for the very first time in my life last night. I didn't realize how much you sweat doing it.
I will look into getting a good sports bra. Thanks for the recomendations http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...on_biggrin.gif |
Type couch to 5 k in your address bar, its a program to get non runners(couch potatoes) running! Its really pretty fun so far! It starts u off slow then teaches u how to go about it gradually so u dont suffer injuries or get put off cause of muscle soreness. I will commit to doing this I believe. Thanks Patty!

Bagadonitz, I didn't even see your post. It reminds me of that Seinfeld episode with the man-bra - I can't remember what they called it ?? Was it the bro ? Someone said "man-sier".

Fine!! No one laugh at my man boob joke!! :P :P :P

Many women where 2 sports bras. You definately need the ones that are specifically for high impact.
|
You can get them with hooks, too. I have both kinds. In the coolrunning boards, this discussion comes up a lot, and you could probably do a search to find some good suggestions. I, personally, like the ones that are pull-over (I use Hanes High-Impact from Walmart). Sometimes, a fitted tank over top adds more support (as opposed to just a tee).
I'd also tan beforehand, as I get quite sweaty when I run or do cardio. Of course, I don't tan, so it's not really an issue http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif |
I'm into week 4 of the program and loving it. I was dreading moving from week 3 to week 4 but the first time out on week 4 I had no problems. I was amazed.
I wonder if I would look weird with a sports bra as mine are pretty big and jiggly http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif |
Hehe, maybe u could get a great support sport bra, but even mine jiggle a bit and im not very big hehe.

what's a couch to 5k workout? ... http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...icon_smile.gif?
|
My thing is that most sports bras are one piece with no zippers or hooks, right? How do you get the thing on without hurting yourself, and then how do you get it off after you've been sweating, AND if you want to tan after your workout, how do you get in on and off in less than a minute, so you can get the rest of your clothes on or off? Just how do they work? http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...n_confused.gif

Im so happy for u susanna making all these great changes in your life. I like the zipper kind of bra, they look cute too :P

I'll stick to walking for now. With my chest being so, well, it's shrinking, but I never have run. I thing I look funny doing it.
|
Ok Qvaria you've peaked my interest! Good luck to you on the couch to 5 km! You can do it. Now I'm going to check out the website and see if maybe I can too! Lynne
