I go at night. I really wish I could go in the morning, but the time isn't there. But since I am with my kids all day, it is a nice break.

I just started going to the gym myself a little over a week ago. I specifically picked the machines with pictures that show you how to do the excercise. Even with the pictures and watching others on the machines, I still have a hard time doing the excercise right.
Eventually, we'll figure it out, though. We're fairly smart people, right? |
I hope so anyway.

I used to have such sciattica after having kids. When I work out regularly, it's practically non-existant.
I don't know the names of the machines either. I haven't been to a gym in quite a while, tho. No time, with the kiddies http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...icon_smile.gif I'm already away from them during the day. Someday, I'll go back. I really used to enjoy it. |
Your not alone Susanna. I don't know the names of most machines either... and I just know the names of the exercises I do at home on my equipment.
I'm not familiar with shaving my legs, but I am familiar with just how much easier it is for me to bend down or stand up or just get around in general.. http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...icon_smile.gif |

I told everyone I joined a gym last week.
I really enjoy it, but I feel rather stupid as I have to sit and look at the directions to these machines. But I feel so good when I am done. And I found one that works my lower back. And since I have scoliosis, it feels really good to wrok that out. I usually have to stand up slowly in the shower after I shave on leg, but I didn't last night after working out. It made me feel so good to know that there are answers for some things. |
