How much does the degree of excerise affect induction?
i am 5 9 203 six months ago i was 180 and i very good shape ran an hour a day. ate any food but not excesive. after a 6 hard 6 months of INTENSE partying and emtional eating gaiend. im using atkins to get back to where i was for the first 32 years of my life. If i do induction for 4 weeks running 5 times a day for 15. what are your preditons for my weight loss. will i be able to lose 10lbs + every two weeks?

My theory is that, the longer the weight has been on you, the harder it is to come off. If you gained 20 pounds in the past few months, it could come off in the same amount of time.

unfortunately it is almost impossible to predict how much you will lose because of individual x factors ....Your wieght-loss will be dramatic at first (I lost, I think 15lbs in my first 2 weeks), but then it will slow down. I am about five pounds from my goal..Where I am, I can go a week without losing...I have gone as far as 2 without any loss...and the average loss for me is 2 1/2lb in a week. This is all with a regualr weekly running/fitness routine that I do every other day+1 on Sat.

I am in a similar position as you - almost the the pound. I started Atkins 4 weeks ago. Lost 10 lbs first 2 weeks, 3 lbs the 3rd, and 1 lb the 4th.
I lift 3 times a week and have done 45 mins of cardio about 6 times over the past 2 weeks. YMMV |
is you guys' weight slow down from getting off induction and going into less strict phases? would i stay with the 10 pounds per two weeks if i simply stayed on induction? Hey VA guy im in MD

all induction does is start a process of burning fat for fuel......I think people associate it with speed because of the quick wieght loss in the first 2 weeks or so...regaurdless of whether or not you stay on induction, your wieght loss will slow down....most of the wieght you lose in the begining is water
