Saturday
Rest. Tomorrow, I am attempting 12 miles. This is longer than I've ever run. (my longest run has been 10 miles). I'm sore, but if I want to run this marathon, I need to do this. If I can't, then I won't be able to catch up. Unfortunately, there's not another local marathon until Fall. I guess it will be a deciding run. |

![]() I actually felt great. I planned to stop home after 6 for some water, but kept making turns. I didn't reach my house until 11.5 miles, where I had a drink. It was about 40 degrees, and I wasn't sweating much. I ran pretty slow (11 min-mile), but it was a consistant pace throughout the run. I have a Timex GPS watch, which is fantastic. I didn't have any idea what my route would be beforehand, so I was free to try new streets. |
