Holy guacamole batman!!!
Ok, well, here I sit on my totally burning buns,, and thinking,, I have got to get over this feeling soon. So, after the week I have had, I would think that my arms would hurt, you know, from my shoulders to my finger tips.. but nnnoooo... instead, my shoulders through my upper back, and generating up around my neck muscles (complete and total layman's terms because I have no clue as to muscle names) are just as soar, that I don't even want to pick up my coffee cup.. I would think, after this week, that my abs would be groaning and moaning, and it would hurt to even cough are breath deep.... but nnnnnooooo,, my hip flexors are saying,,, if you even dare attempt to raise that knee over 3 inches,,,, we are going on strike and you can kiss us good bye... I would think, after this week,, that my thighs (frontal) and calves would be ranting and raving at the massive stress I had put them under,,, but nnnnoooo.. MY BUNS ARE BURNING,,, MY BUNS ARE BURNING!!!! Remember that song.. hot cross buns??? Well, I can sure tell you, not only are they hot (burning) but they sure are cross too.. but cross is putting it too mildly.. They are just down right pissed off. Every step I take, I feel like this loud explosion is happening.. Pow!... Pow!.. Pow!.. as I walk across the floor. It is so internally loud, that I'm fearful that people around me can hear my butt objecting to the strain it is under!! lol I knew I would be using my muscles in ways that I had never tried before,,, but I still relied on past experience as too which muscles would be tender... WELL,,,,, uuumm,,, I won't make that mistake again.. thank the heavens, it's the weekend, and I can give my buns a chance to recover!! |
