Personally I would not get a bowflex. It's an awful big investment. My family bought a treadmill a few years ago for $600 and barely used it. My advice is to go out and buy some free weights and a bench like FrogAttack mentioned and just work this those first. You can do all the exercises that the bowflex advertises with those anyways. Not to mention that its way cheaper. Good luck http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...icon_smile.gif

Sears has Weiders Crossbow on sale for $499.00 USD. Sears version comes with the lat bar included. I am trying to talk myself into it right now. http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...n_rolleyes.gif

I agree with FROG and JOBOWO
Add a stability ball and a skipping rope and you are set. Although if you think that a bowlfex is better for you, then do it. http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...on_biggrin.gif |
If you have the money to spend, by all means. But if you do a google search of BOWFLEX and customer reviews, it's not all good stuff. It seems the bands wear out. SOme quality dumbbells, a bench and a good book on lifting is way cheaper and may be more versatile. But it's up to you, of course. If a bowflex suits you, do it. Anything to get in the exercise.

Bowflex
We are thinking of getting a bowflex. Anyone have one? Pluses, minuses, other options.
