Default New Years (formerly Christmas) Challenge!
How many miles do you think we can collectively run/walk by Christmas? Each time you walk or run over a mile, log it here, and add to the previous total.

How far do you think we'll go?

Unfortunately, I started this month out by sleeping in. So, the current tally is:

I ran 4.2 this morning in 17 degrees. It's not even winter yet!

That brings us up to 25 miles.

I walk about 20-22 miles a week. I've been able to maintain 20 so far during the holiday season.

Okay.. you guys are truly inspirational... just walked 3 miles. I usually run, but haven't done so in a long time and the streets are full of snow and ice so I thought it best to take it easy for both of those reasons. Did it in 42 minutes.. not sure if that's very fast but I usually run it in 24 min.

92.25 miles

I was originally thinking of 1000 miles, but thought that it'd be better to just see how far we go first. I'll post a message in the support section, too.

I ran 4.2 miles today (which I'll round to 4).

Current tally: 7 miles

does the 1000 miles seam reasonable to you?You might want to post this in the "diet support" column.Much more people read it.It say's support and general discussion so it should count as general discussion.

I ran another 4.2 this morning, which brings us to 72.25

Teuthis and Gareth, what how many miles did you actually walk this week?? We need to add them to the tally, we'll be over 100!
