I'm in... didn't lose much at all last month... frustrating, but I'm going to keep at it.

My goal weight is even higher than my goal weight for last month. But I want to set myself up for success... I sure hope I get there!

Droly... just keep putting one foot in front of the other and you'll get there~ this isn't a sprint, it's a marathon.

SWB, it's your goal... if you find it's TOO bold later on in the month, we can adjust it then.

- 45 mins of walking at a slow- moderate pace (with kids, to school)

lugging one of those damn carts around the grocery store, then to the car (surely that counts, right?!? :x

Default February LOVE YOUR HEART Challenge
Ok folks, it's time to sign up for the February SAVE YOUR HEART Challenge. The rules are simple and easy.

Tell me you want to participate.
Post your starting weight on or shortly after 2/1.
Post your (reasonable) weight loss goal for the month.
Adjust your goal if necessary (rather than feel like a failure, adjust your goal).

I added the SAVE YOUR HEART in honor of Valentine's Day... if you want to add this to your month, there's one more "rule":

Post your exercise minutes... per day, per week or for the entire month at the end. It's up to you. Let's get those hearts healthy!

I'll make up the list of participants and post it on 2/1!

Today 61.2 kgs (134.9 lbs) still!

On the 1st of february I'll post my weight again and my goal... I'm trying to think of a reasonable goal.

The Heart/Exercise challenge is a good one too

I'm in as well! As of today I am 151.0.
My goal for February is to get down to 141.0. Ten pounds in a month is doable, but I am going to have to work hard at it!

Thanks for setting this up Tril- this is a challenge I need to stick to!

It's "activity" Tracy... not sure if it's "exercise", though. Did you sweat? Did your heart rate go up? Did you breathe hard? Did it require EFFORT? Were physically you ready to quit when it was done? Did you do it for long enough?

Those are the questions I ask myself when determining if something I did could be considered "exercise" that day...

291.4 as of 2/2. I'm going to pick a goal of 285.

I'll take your heart challenge to heart (ha ha) and try to begin exercising this week. I'm really out of shape, so this should be extremely interesting...

John... I added you to the challenge. As for exercise... start out slow and easy. Work your way up in both minutes and intensity as you progress. If you're very inactive and out of shape, start with a short walk. If you over do it you could not only hurt yourself, but you could decide you don't like it... and quit. Slow and steady wins this race.
