Default trying to get back into exersize
I have had some health problems for a while now, actually out of work for my back, 3 bad discs,

partly because of that i havent worked out for years, i sort of realized a few weeks ago that i weighed 335 pounds, i am trying atkins and in 2.5 weeks i am down almost 20 pounds, but i figured i better start exersizing, problem is my leg goes numb if i walk for more than a few minutes, and working out is hard with my back, so i joined a gym with a big pool,

my question, it has been so long its tough,but the last couple days i have tried to do it like this: mainly just walking/trying to run through the water, everyonce in a while swim a bit, pretty much just a constant movement from one end of the pool to the other for 40 minutes, 10 minutes in the hot tub, then another 10 in the pool,

is this even going to help or do i have to full on swim right now? i am hoping for now just the act of trying to run through the water and sort of swimming with my arms will help until i can get in shape enough to be able to work out better
