Now I know some may ridicule a bloke using moisturisers but I tend to suffer from dry skin. The one I use is this one:
http://www.boots.com/en/Clean-Clear-...ser-100ml_914/ Used it for years and I like it because it gives you that moisturised feeling without being oily. Your skin though... sounds like it changes so much I can only hope some of the ladies here have good advice. ![]() |

I do sometimes have to top it up so I keep a small tiny decanted supply.
Woah, so not just certain days but patches of skin can vary in dry/oiliness eh. They're not the cheapest stuff - have you tried asking any of the assistants in Lush if you have one of those nearby? They've been only too eager to help when I've needed specific things. |

stress and allergies can cause all that too... milk being the number one allergy to cause spots.
Sometimes over washing can do it too. You cause your oil glands to go into over-mode... and most ppl who have oiling sky have dry skin. So none oily moisturisers are a must to balancing out your skin. i'd suggest giving your skin a rest for about a week to allow it to heal and then use a gentle exfoliation product daily with benzoyl peroxide in it, and always remember to pat dry and not rub dry. Put your moisturiser onto damp skin and only use it where needed - so on the dry and oily areas. If you don't clear up after 4-6 weeks of this. See your doctor and ask for an antibiotic in pill form to take orally for 6 weeks. |

I've had that same problem for many years with patchy dry areas and some with oily spots. I have tried many OTC ( Over the counter) moisturizers to Signature brands ( Este Lauder, Clinique etc) nothing worked. Till a friend introduced these products to me.
1) Arbonne: Botanical, pure ingredients and none of the mineral oil containing ingredients from other moisturizers. Thru researches, mineral oil blocks the skin like a thin plastic film and hence no matter how much we moisturize it doesn't get absorbed by the skin to bring back it's baby skin glow and smoothness. They're just a bit on the expensive side but it works as it self adjusts. http://www.arbonne.com/products/ 2) Meaningful Beauty: This is what I am currently using as Arbonne's gotta go due to budget. This works well too. It also uses botanical and pure ingredients and non mineral oil containing. I love their products. It's very mild yet it works. So it's up to you what you think will suit your skin better. Read on it. Good luck ![]() http://www.meaningfulbeauty.com/inde...e%7C6961368915 |
