I wake up with a headache most days. I start my day with two excedrine. My doctor said mine is probably sinus headaches.

There are some trigger points in upper back and neck muscles that cause reffered pain and that can even cause headaches also.

Have you tried massage? Drinking lots of water.

Generally a headache behind the eyes is tension. So, if you're under a lot of stress lately, see if lightening your stress load will help. If that doesn't work, be sure to see your eye doctor.

Let me ask you this, does it feel like pressure or is it simply an ache? These could be two very different things. If it's pressure, there could be something affecting your optic nerve...if it's just an ache I would chalk it up more to eye strain or tension/stress. Also, be sure to check your blood pressure regularly. If your blood pressure is up a bit, that can also cause headaches...particularly behind the eye.

Also, do you have any other symptoms with it? Like nausea or dizziness or extreme fatigue? If you have any of those (particularly the nausea and dizziness) see a doctor immediately!

If that's lasted more than a day, I would really recommend seeing a doctor to rule out anything serious. I know that's probably not the answer you wanted, but given it's making you dizzy, it could be something a little more serious than just a headache and best to nip it early!! http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif

*hugs* to you and good luck!!
