Default Old Bytch, New Tricks....
Who said you can't teach an old bytch new tricks?

For the first time in my life I am keeping a food diary.

I stepped on the scale expecting the 6 pounds I've lost this week to be back cuz it seems too good to be true and lo and behold I dropped another pound.

I guess I don't miss Mountain Dew and Coke as much as I thought I would?

Tho, since my fbs was 137 this morning, I guess the 1/2 cup of peas and 3/4 cup of mashed taters & homemade gravy w/my turkey last night were a no-no? Hey, it's not like I had 2 cups or anything

Still, all in all, I'm pretty amazed at myself. Perhaps all that weight will find me tomorrow? It's all a joke!!!!!

Surely it can't keep melting off like this?

I'll let you know tomorrow as posting it in public keeps it real.

As an aside, I'm surprised that getting most of the sugar out of my system has improved my mood. Who knew.....

I'm still trying to convince my hubby to let me check his fbs. But he is still of the mind that ignorance is bliss. If the lancet didn't hurt a bit I could get him on the sly while he's still sleeping... I'll keep trying...

Happy Hump Day y'all.....
MoonOwl

p.s. Hey Satin, did you get your package yet? Jerks.

Congrats StepMoonie! I'm so happy for you!

I've cut back considerably on my sugar, and I've been feeling better (surprise surprised).

I still haven't got my effing package... going to call today and find out WTF. I tried to send an email, but it was returned.

Yard work has been my exercise. Tho, w/my sugar this am I'm thinking I should have taken a walk around the perimeter of our property after dinner. Which isn't small since our lake has been drying up and acres and acres are now available to walk on. I hope our rainy season is just that.

You're doing incredibly awesome, MoonOwl! Keep up the good work!
Thanks. I keep wanting to {kwx3} cuz it seems too easy... I'm gonna wake up in a minute. More likely I won't lose another pound for a month

What bastards they are to not send you your package in a timely manner.

Congratulations! Its always good to have a nice surprise on your goals.
TY!! Isn't it tho? Now if I could just find more buyers for my MajicWater.

That's grand news. I'm happy for you. Keep it up Moonie

No shit. That's a total of 10 pounds in one week. I seriously didn't expect to see the scale go down this am. Yet it did. Showing just how much fluid I was retaining.

I know it's not going to last forever but it's an interesting thing to watch.. Gee, perhaps I can get along w/out sugar in my life?

I did have a Glucerna Chocolate Chunk bar yesterday afternoon for a snack and that did help w/the chocolate craving. Cuz this olde bagge does enjoy chocolate and I will not live life w/out it. Plus I know myself and I was getting to the point where I was feeling deprived and we can't have that cuz then a binge is in the cards. So I worked w/in the parameters and got it done.

7,643 pounds to go.... Or about 175 stones to you Yes, I watch "You are what you eat". Gillian needs some Chocolate!!!!!

No... I called and they had no idea what I was talking about. They're sposed to call me back, but I checked my bank account and it seems they never charged me for it.

*sighs*

Now Imma have to start all over again.

And good to hear you're still losing... I'm so happy for you!

The rat-bastards! They should pay for overnight shipping! At least you're on your way to cleaning out your system.

I'm finding it quite interesting. Tho I think this coming week I'm only going to test in the am and pm. But it does addicting in a self-mutilating way....

No weight loss today. No exercise yesterday either

My fbs was 120. Down 7 points in one week. On to a taco salad & LARGE Mountain Dew for lunch!!!!!!! j/k. I think.

My kid has been watching this process and has decided she too needs to watch what she eats more carefully. Which is a good thing since my hubby & StepSon have almost eaten their way through all the junk left in the house.

Tho, if I bring reduced fat oreos into this house I think my husband will revolt

Well, in 13 years we've never had a real fight. It would be funny if the first one was over cookies.

Well I think it would be a very good thing if everyone stuck with the same diet. After all... it's only fair.

Oreos and Reduced fat oreos havent tasted different since they changed the recipe some years ago... I doubt anyone would really notice.
