So glad I've found this forum! Just to bring you up to speed as far as where I'm at, I've had major success on atkins in the past but let it slip and blew up to an all time high of 350! That was in July 09, last weigh in, 9/16/09, I was down to 323 (yay me!) But it seems I've hit a sticking point, on 9/13 i had a binge/meltdown, my daughters 10th b-day, stumbled through a couple days trying to get back on track, then had another meltdown on friday! I pulled it together again on sat. and have been good since, however, my motivation is at an all time low, both for diet and gym, not back in ketosis yet, though i've been very strict, and I'm not getting 'the feeling' back yet, (you know 'the feeling', every time you wake up, it feels like you've lost like 20#'s in your sleep) My Q is; how long does it typically take to get back to ketosis after a bad week? and; If you're doing the diet right, and exercising, but not yet in ketosis, are you still burning fat?
