For the first time in my life I have a broken bone. Broke the bejeezus outta my right middle finger today. Hurts like a mofo but I'm doing well typing with both pointer fingers and cutting up with you guys is keeping my mind off the pain a little.

We were unloading a truckload at my office. One of my helpers decided I wanted him to drop about 45 pounds of steel on my hand...which was over some steel angle pieces. So my hand slammed down on them with the weight on top of it. Pretty disgusting looking. If I were....nevermind had a funny but stupid thought.

Shit I was 31 when I broke my first bone. I think it hurts us more with age.

Maybe you're right. I have no prior breaks to compare it to but good God it hurts. And they (Satellite Med) gave me nothing for pain.

Dude that sucks. I was in the ER for 6 hours before anyone came to see how I was. No pain meds or nothing. My girlfriend had to unzip my shit so I could piss. But she showered with me everyday until I got the cast off!!!!

Ouch...that sucks!!! Hope you feel better soon, Maulds. Next time, demand pain meds...nobody should go w/o pain meds when they have a broken bone.

I accidentally kicked my bestfriend in the hand last night and she yelled that I broke her 2 fingers. I told her girlfriend that I was sorry but it appeared that I may have ruined her sex life for the next few days. Her response was "hey, she's got 2 hands!!!" LOL

When I broke my foot last year, that was the 1st time I had ever broken a bone and it really hurt!
