Weed

What is the big deal about smoking weed? About buying weed? Honestly what is your opinions on this issue?

Andromino 02-10-2007 11:03 PM

You got me! Why it's so taboo while more dangerous drugs like alcohol are legal is beyond me! Personally I think all drugs should be legal. Punish people for crimes they commit under the influence of drugs but not for doing them themself.

Mister.levitra 02-10-2007 11:08 PM

I'm all for the legalization of pot, but where does it end? We'll have cocaine addicts praising it and wanting it legal, PCP, X, meth, heroine.

VawSwaspamups 02-10-2007 11:52 PM

I think a good argument to that James, is one is all natural, while the others are man-made, or have man-made chemicals added to them. There are more dangerous substances in a McDonalds hamburger, than a bowl of herb.

Mowselelex 02-10-2007 11:54 PM

Man puts things in weed to make them more dangerous. They've found traces of rat poison added to blunts sold on the street.

I know one of the arguments I make is that it's grown from the ground. Not man made at all. It's just that such a negative connotation comes with smoking weed. I like to use the analogy of a dinner. Some people can make it a main course, while others want to make it a spice. I like the spice.

Wheat comes from the ground, which is then used to brew alcohol. Alcohol isn't illegal, but the consequences of driving under it's influence is.

If they made pot laws along these guidelines I wouldn't mind, but the point is pot is a mind altering drug, just like anything else defined as a controlled substance.

That's another good reason why it should be legal! If it can be regulated you won't get crap like that in it!

Weat, barley, oats and hops. Correct. Also its fermented and fermentation is natural. Yummy. But they dont make beer the way they used to. There are preservatives in the beer and other additions. Read the label dood. Its nutz. I also want to start making my own beer. So I know whats in it ya know? All these companies will put whatever they can sell into a can.

It's illegal to drive under the influence of it where I live already. Same sort of penalties as you would face for drink driving.

This is why I prefer real ale which is natural without a load of crap in it like big name beers.

mobiphones 02-11-2007 12:27 AM

well that's not really the point of my post. preservatives just keep the product on the shelf longer so it can be sold. Oh and brew away, it's been legal for decades.

I'm basically agreeing that it needs to be legalized in small amounts (Denver has it right).
