Default this forum needs reviving!
I honestly haven't been posting because I feel like I have failed you guys...i stopped dieting, stopped working out...the whole 9 yards. I haven't been pigging out or anything...but I sure as hell haven't been dieting. I'm in a weird state of mind right now...I'm doing everything I can to not let this wedding drive me insane, and I haven't gotten fatter or anything so I'm just kinda relaxing with the stress of dieting right now. But I am still here if any of you need any advice or help, I still know my stuff...and I need to start taking care of my forum better. Anyways. Just thought I'd let you guys know whats going on, I don't like being a bad example or being flakey...hope you guys forgive me. As soon as I get back from the honeymoon I am going to set some new goals for myself. I want to start running, and I might start training for a half marathon.

hahahha. yeah it can do that. especially when no one around you wants to diet WITH you. I'm going to start going back to weight watchers meetings later this summer to get back on track. Until then...meh. there are bigger things in my life to worry about And I'm not eating HORRIBLE. Just not counting every damn calorie that goes into my body. I've already come a long way and I'm not gonna just QUIT or stop. I am proud of what I've done so far and I think other people are proud of me too..at least I hope so. I hope I don't let anyone down for taking this break..I've been dieting for a year now.

i made alot of everyday diet changes

id rink hardly any soda.. my meals are attempts at eatign healthy .. but i don;t stress myself over it.. and what not...
my problem was i wasn't dieting the right way.. and i was depriving myself of stuff i needed and that stress added onto the other stresses in my life just turned me into a jerk

I think each person needs to make their own thread.. They can post their stats (measurements) and weight now and just keep updating.. It will be like their own person diet blog... What do yall think?

that works for me! I will still be around to give encouragement and uplifting but I jsut need to be honest with you guys for right now, and not ACT like I'm doing something that I'm not. I will be back on very soon though I promise.

Just want to share some happy news (well news Im happy about anyways). I havent been counting calories or been real strict with myself, but I have completely cut out all sodas and have been exercising 2-3 times a week and I have lost 6 pounds in the last 3 wks! YAY! Its a start anyways.

Sometimes it's just the little changes that make such a big difference. Some people try to take on too much at first, it gets hard to keep up with it, then they quit altogether.

Amy, you are an inspiration... you go girl.

Clare, don't give up... just keep reminding yourself that this a slump and nothing more. Don't think of it as a negative bringing yourself down. Your wedding is more important now, and you looked PERFECT in that dress...
and even if you feel that you are backsliding.... it's ok to post about that, it shows that it is a struggle...

It's hard because I'm the only one I know (IRL) who is doing this anymore...If matt did it with me it would be a million times easier, and I would try and be strong just to set a good example for him...but I don't think after a year that he is just gonna jump on the diet/exercise bandwagon now...ah well. I am human, and I am weak. Some little things I'm doing now to not GAIN weight are not smoking pot (munchies will be the death of me!), and cutting out sodas again. I'm also trying to portion a little better. Tim, thanks for the compliment, i needed it
