i dont really have any good suggestions of food. eating fish, vegetables and red meat should add a bit of weight to u. it might take a while as the are quite healthy foods, but it will eventually start makin u feel better and addin the pounds on.

What do you eat now in an average day? Since you are paying for all your own food, where are you getting it? The reason I ask, if you are getting your meals at the school cafateria then you might have a harder time than if you were buying all your own food at a grocery store.

You can try something like this

It has 350 calories and is good for you. The "Plus" means that it has the higher calorie count to help maintain or gain weight.

If you drink 2 a day (one between breakfast and lunch and one after lunch) you will add 700 calories a day above your normal intake.

3500 calories = 1 pound

700 calories a day X 1 month = 21,000 added calories = 6lbs
provided you don't change your physical activity or change your normal caloric intake.

Yeah I would try Ensure. They give Ensure to alot of older folks (like in nursing homes, etc) who cant eat or dont eat enough. That way they stay healthy and are getting the right amount of calories.
