Steak!!
Hi everyone! I'm on Vlcd 20 and stayed away from eating steak as my protein because I heard that it takes a long time to digest. I have been craving it lately....so my question is this; How has or does having steak affect YOUR losses on P2?
I am just curious, thanks for answering! http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...lies/smile.png |
I never indulged in the thick, juicy steaks that I dreamed about in P2, but I regularly had grilled patties made of 95% lean ground beef. Measured before cooking, they end up about the size of a bisquit after cooking!
I seasoned them up with Himalayan Sea Salt & fresh ground pepper, & after cooking, I pat out all the grease I could, with a paper towel. I always made a batch, so that I could wrap the extras in Saran Wrap for later. Sometimes when I knew I was going out for lunch, I would slip one of my little "biscuits" in my purse, & take it to the restaurant with me, where I ordered sliced tomatoes. The really low fat ground beef is not as tasty as the high fat stuff, but on P2, where I really wasn't hungry, it was great. I am a real beef lover, & I truly adore steak. I may be the only person who thinks that a "steak day" in P3 sounds like fun! |
Thank u for answering. I just went for it and had a big steak yesterday, I grilled it myself..jutst seasoned it bit. I ate it ALL, it was more than 100 grams thats for sure. Oh my..it was just what I needed...anywho I cut out my second fruit to kind of make up for the extra calories.
I'm down .8 today http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...lies/smile.png |
I have been eating thin steak, almost everyday without any issues.

I have some of my best losses on steak, I use a lean flat iron cut steak. I can't do beef burger of any kind, not even the lean grassfed, it makes me either gain or stall. http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...lies/frown.png I can't do the grissini or melba either.
But this is a new round and it's been months since my last one so this time it could all change! |
